Be Blessed Charity celebrated the grand opening of its third community education center, bringing quality educational opportunities directly to underserved rural communities in Northern Uganda.
The excitement was palpable as community members, local leaders, and Be Blessed Charity staff gathered to celebrate the opening of the new Gulu Community Education Center. Located in the heart of Northern Uganda, this state-of-the-art facility represents a significant milestone in our mission to provide quality education to every child, regardless of their circumstances.
The new center, which took 18 months to complete, features six fully equipped classrooms, a library with over 2,000 books, a computer lab with 20 workstations, and specialized spaces for vocational training. The facility has been designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating solar panels for electricity and rainwater harvesting systems to ensure reliable access to clean water.
Our mobile maternal health clinics have now facilitated over 1,000 safe births across rural Uganda, dramatically reducing maternal mortality rates in our service areas.
